DESCRIPTION:The Candidate Training Academy&nbsp\;was developed to give REAL
 TORS®\,&nbsp\;REALTOR®-friendly candidates\, or&nbsp\;those who are cont
 emplating being&nbsp\;a political candidate an introduction&nbsp\;to and e
 xpectation of how to run for&nbsp\;political office. It will give candidat
 es&nbsp\;a valuable head start in their political&nbsp\;journey\, as well 
 as information on&nbsp\;how to run a successful campaign.
 &nbsp\;
 Upon
  completion of this training session\, participants will be able to:
 
 
 Assess whether they possess the&nbsp\;basic traits necessary to run for&nb
 sp\;office.
 Outline (in 30 seconds) why they&nbsp\;are running for offic
 e.
 Plan for the fundraising methods&nbsp\;that can prove most effective 
 and&nbsp\;lucrative based on a candidate’sindividual campaign strength.

 
 Describe the elements necessary&nbsp\;for developing a campaign plan&nbs
 p\;and begin the planning process.
 Discuss their research needs&nbsp\;ba
 sed on their target audience&nbsp\;and their budget estimates.
 Determine
  the best methods for&nbsp\;contacting their constituents\,based on voter 
 demographics&nbsp\;and budget.
 Analyze the electronic campaign&nbsp\;opt
 ions available and determine&nbsp\;which\, if any\, will prove most&nbsp\;
 effective for their outreach.
 Assess the multiple avenues to&nbsp\;appro
 ach a Get Out the Vote (GOTV) plan and determine the&nbsp\;most useful ele
 ments for their&nbsp\;campaign planning.
