DESCRIPTION:The economy feels to be balancing on a razors edge\, on one sid
 e is growth and the other recession. We are precariously balancing between
  these two realities\, and it&nbsp\;is difficult to make sense of what is 
 going on. Damon will discuss national and Oregon trends in the labor marke
 t\, inflation\, and housing to help us better understand&nbsp\;where we ca
 me from and provide some insight into where we may be going.

 Damon Runberg is the State Economist at Business Oregon. H
 e supports the statewide economic development goals by tracking and analyz
 ing economic indicators&nbsp\;critical to Oregon’s workers and businesse
 s. He also evaluates the effectiveness of Oregon’s economic development 
 strategies and incentives. Prior to working with&nbsp\;Business Oregon Dam
 on was the Regional Economist with the Oregon Employment Department for th
 e East Cascades of Oregon for nearly 12 years.
