Women's Council Lunch & Learn: Do I Need a Home Energy Score? 1 CE

The Bend City Council approved a mandatory Home Energy Score program that begins July 1st, 2023. The program requires that homes listed for sale in Bend obtain a home energy assessment, called a “Home Energy Score” prior to listing. The homeowner or Realtor must then share the scorecard with prospective buyers looking at the home. This class will help agents understand the score and explain it to their client.

  • Understand the relevance of energy efficiency to home buyers.
  • Learn the ins-and-outs of the Home Energy Score.
  • Find out how to populate the score on the Central Oregon MLS.
  • Know where to direct clients to find home energy assessors and next steps.

COAR’s Commercial Marketing Meeting/Roadshow will head to Prineville on May 5th for a bus tour of some key commercial and industrial sites. Hear from City staff and EDCO on what's happening in Prineville. The event will begin at the Prineville City Hall and attendees will then board a bus for a tour of some key areas. Breakfast included, as well as 2 CEs.
