The Building a Better Oregon (BBO) Awards recognizes those who have enhanced their community with outstanding new or renovated residential, commercial, or industrial buildings or projects. Applicants are judged on local economic impact, neighborhood or community improvement or beautification, unique design or use of materials, and environmental friendliness. 

 

The BBO Awards are a program of the  Cascades East Association of REALTORS®, formerly the Central Oregon Association of REALTORS®. For over 40 years, the association has recognized worthy projects in the communities that our REALTORS® serve. View past award winners here.

A workgroup of members reviews applications and selects finalists to tour. Selected properties/projects will be contacted by an association representative to set up a tour of the property for the BBO Awards workgroup. From the finalists toured, eight will be selected as winners. Awardees receive a professional video, tickets to the awards event on October 1, and media coverage.
