Charitable Giving from the Cascades East Association of REALTORS®

The Cascades East Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors allocates funds annually for Charitable Giving in the communities that our members serve. Nonprofits that meet the criteria below may apply for these funds.  A workgroup of members reviews the applications and selects recipients to receive funds ranging from $500 to $2,500. 

Process

 All applications must be submitted through this online form with a letter of support from an association member (REALTOR® or affiliate). The 2026 applications are due on September 1, 2026. Applicants will be informed this fall whether they have received funds. 

Please consider the following criteria before applying.

• Applicant must be a 501(c)3
• Organizations and programs that provide the community with basic needs, such as shelter, food, and clothing, will receive priority*.
• Political organizations/campaigns, schools, animal welfare, arts organizations, sports teams, religious activities, and individual activities are not eligible. However, religious organizations are eligible for community service programs that address basic needs.
• Funds must be used for programs, and not events or marketing.
• Programs must take place in Baker, Crook, Deschutes, Grant, Harney, Jefferson, Morrow, Umatilla, Union, Wallowa, and Wheeler counties.

*Note: The Cascades East Association of REALTORS® has seen an increase in applications in recent years and has only been able to fund a portion of the applicants.
